Alnwick Rural District was a rural district of the administrative county of Northumberland, England from 1894 to 1974, covering an area north of Newcastle upon Tyne and bounded on the north by Belford Rural District, on the east by the North Sea, on the south by Morpeth Rural District, and on the west by Glendale and Rothbury Rural Districts. In 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972, most of it was absorbed into the Alnwick non-metropolitan district.
