Hannah Gobby was baptised on 29th January 1850 at Toddington in Bedfordshire, daughter of a straw plaiter named Mary Ann Gobby, formerly Buckingham, and her husband Joseph Gobby, an agricultural labourer.

Hannah appears with her parents and siblings in the 1851, 1861 and 1871 censuses, living at Parsonage End in Toddington. In both 1861 and 1871 she was working as a straw plaiter.

Hannah has yet to be researched after 1871.
