The Rev. John Gehring conducted the rite at Bennetts funeral home in Benzonia and Burial was in the Benzonia, Twp. cemetery. Born in Indiana September 23, 1874, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Jane Lung, she was a resident of Benzonia Twp. about 71 years. Her husband, Adam Long died June 1, 1951. Also preceding her in death were one son and one daughter, in infancy, one son at the age of eight and another son Alton. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Eric Porter and Mrs. Arthur Clark of Benzonia; Mrs. Orlo Priest and Mrs. John Priest of Beulah; Three sons; William of Beulah; Harvey of Benzonia; Lloyd of Traverse City; 30 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and two brothers, Sam and Tom Lung of Carson Washington.
