Long ----- William T. Long, 81, a life long resident of Beulah area, died Wednesday at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort following a brief illness. He was born May 29, 1897 in Benzonia to Adam and Matilda (Lung) Long. Mr. Long worked on the Ann Arbor Railroad car ferries until his retirement in 1967. His hobbies were woodworking, hunting and working on guns. He is survived by two brothers, Harvey of Benzonia and Lloyd of Gulliver, Mich.; and three sisters, Mrs. Orla (Grace) Priest and Mrs. Ida Priest both of Beulah, and Mrs. Arthur (Margaret) Clark of Benzonia. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents. two brothers and a sister. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bennett Funeral Home in Benzonia; the Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Benzonia Twp. cemetery.
