My picture and Bio for my reunion

I have been retired almost 6 years, 4 of those years I got to spend with my mate of 42 years, Jerry Litynski. Many years ago, we bought 11 acres located on the Des Moines River. Altho, we did a lot of traveling, we felt we were always on vacation living on the river, where we did a lot of fishing, boating, canoeing, and rafting. We call this “Heaven”. One of my friends wrote a poem about Jerry and I called, “Lessons from this Heaven”, which was recently published. Since his passing, I still enjoy my peaceful living here. I keep busy with my several flower gardens and my vegetable garden. I also do community projects, as I am a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, where I serve as Chaplain. I also enjoy spending time with my many friends, who are also there to lend a helping hand.
