This is my picture with my wife, Bobbi, and my bio for our 2007 class reunion

I have been involved all my adult life in the education field. After I graduated from Mankato State I started teaching in the small town of LeRoy, Minnesota and never looked back. I taugh and coached their for five years. I taugh Business Education classes like shorthand and typing on manual typewiters which is all obsolete in todays world. I, also, coached football, wrestling, and track along with advising the annual staff, newspaper staff, and senior advisor. I, also, was the only drivers education teacher in the school. I moved to Osseo where I spent 34 years doing the rest of my educational endeavors. I taugh, coached, was athletic director for the high school, and finely finished as the district wide director of atletic and fine arts. My responsiblities as district director was to oversee the total athletic and fine arts programs of three high schools and four junior high schools. I retired in 2003 and continued to do consulting for the district for the next two years. During those two years I helped design three football stadiums which all seat 5,000 spectators, one gymnasium which seats 3,000 spectators, and three all weather 400 meter tracks.

I presently live in Dayton, Minnesota with my wife Bobbi. We have a three acre hobby farm that is getting to much to take care of and are looking for a summer home on Pelican Lake up in the Brainard area at which time we will sell the Dayton home. We spend our winters in Ocala, Florida where we own a home in a gated cummunity and I live on # 13 green. Yes I spend all my free time on the golf course.

I have two children, a daughter and son, and Bobbi has two sons. Together we have seven grandchildren and shortly number eight will join the family.

I love retirement, but often wonder how I found time to work as we are so busy that I don't seem to have any time. I guess I don't manage my time as well in my old age.
