my bio for 50 year reunion

George L. Arduser - picture taken in 2007.

After graduation in '57' I knocked around until Jan. 58 and then entered the U. S. Army for 3 years. Upon discharge I attended Mankato State for a couple of years and even played a little football there. As it turned out Mankato State and I were not a good match and I went to work for Taystee Bread. In Jan. 1967 I married Delores Keech the love of my life. We moved to Ely Minn. where I worked in the taconite mine in Babbitt Mn. Dee and I lived in Ely 8 years and raised our 5 children. Bryan, Gina, George, Amy, And Erik. It was in 1975 we decided that the winter were too long and we moved to Sheldon Ia. I taught Truck and Diesel at Northwest Iowa Tech College for a couple of years and finally moved to Mason City Ia. and went to work for Lehigh Portland Cement Co. We have lived here in Mason City 30 years + and I retired from the Cement plant in 2003. We now have 13 grandchildren.
