Watchers

This is my bio for my class reunion in 2007

My three children; Rick (48), Wade (44) and Joe (42) have blessed my life with four grandchildren; Angela (27 – ID), Tom (26 – ID), Justin (21 – PA) and Ashley (14 – MN). After working for House of Print in Madelia for almost 20 years, I retired in 2005. Since I’m a homebody type, I’m now home a lot. Sometimes I help a man in my building, who is in a wheelchair or watch the two kids, who live across the hall, while their mom makes a quick trip to the grocery store. I also do cleaning at my church.

The only vacations I took were in the 1970s. I still like to take walks, read, do needlework, do jigsaw & crossword puzzles, watch some TV and listed to music. What I like best about being over 65 is not having to get up on cold, wintry mornings to go to work. I really enjoy being with friends and being able to come & go as I please and do what I want when I want. Some of the things that I like least are the Doctor appointments, tests, procedures, pills, aches & pains associated with being over 65. I’m also disappointed about losing family & friends.

There is a PBWiki website set up for details about our class reunion activities at Madelia Reunion.
