Facts and Events
Mary Ann Lewis was born in 1844 at Aspley Guise in Bedfordshire, daughter of Sarah (or Sally) Lewis, formerly Cook, and her husband Thomas Lewis, a higgler and publican. Mary was baptised on 19th March 1845 at Aspley Guise.
Some time between 1849 and 1850 the family left Aspley Guise and moved to Little Brickhill in Buckinghamshire, where they ran the King's Arms public house. Mary appears in both the 1851 and 1861 censuses living with her parents in Little Brickhill. In 1861 she was described as a straw plaiter.
Mary has yet to be traced after 1861.
