CHILDREN: "Lingenfelser ?" written in the spouse section for Caroline in the Hicks Bible extracts and notes of Lucy Hicks Meeker. This is the surname of a daughter of James Hicks (Callie Lingenfelser) with whom Orville Jones reported a correspondence in 1972 (she age 96 then). (This corresponds to a "Carrie Hicks" age 4 in the 1880 census. She was thus born in 1876, which would make her 96 in 1972, as Orville Jones reported.)
