           surname of a daughter of James Hicks (Callie Lingenfelser) with whom
           Orville Jones reported a correspondence in 1972 (she then age 96).
           (This corresponds to a "Carrie Hicks" age 4 in the 1880 census.
           She was thus born in 1876, which would make her 96 in 1972, as
           Orville Jones reported.)
