"Thiel Kolb (who was the son of Wilhelm Kolb and his wife Anna) and his wife Christina Maria Sayn had a son Johann Peter, born 15 January, baptized 23 January 1701, and confirmed in 1714, aged 14 years. Thiel Kolb died 30 September 1735, aged 72 years, and his wife Christina Maria died 27 February 1743, aged 74 years. Johann Peter Kolb married Maria Gertraut Sanner/Sander, born 21 November and baptized 29 November 1705, the daughter of Johann Wilhelm Sanner and wife Anna Christina Maurer. Maria Gertraut, wife of Johann Peter Kolb, died in Wolferlingen 12 October 1747, aged 41-10-20. "2 The families of Sanner and Maurer also may have been of Swiss origin.
