He is on the 1900 census, age 6, with parents in Liberty Twp, Saline Co., Ks.[ED 118, p 195B, fam #32/32] In 1910 we find him listed twice. He is first found, age 16, with mother, Myra, in Ward 3, Salina, Saline Co., Ks., listed as a farm laborer, "working out."[ED 135, p 2B, fam #47/47] Then we find him with his sister, Bertha (#129.A) and her husband Grover Pease in Glendale, Saline Co., Ks. where he is a "hired hand."[ED 128, p 1A, fam #2/2] The 1920 census shows "P.A.", 26, a farmer, with wife Anna B., 25, and son Kenneth, 3, in Greely, Saline Co., Ks.[ED 139 , p 2D, fam #46/47] We are told he lived his entire life in Salina, Saline Co., Ks. and died there of a heart attack on 17 Jan 1947. He was buried in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, Ks. His address is given as 1008 East Ash St.[obituary, photocopy submitted with no date or ne wspaper I.D][SS] Anna died 18 Mar 1973 in Ks.
