[edit] ================================================Oswego Palladium-Times, 22 Dec 1939: GEORGE ROSER Ricard, Dec. 23-- George Roser, 64, one of the best known residents of the village of Ricard in the town of Williamstown, died at his home there Thursday morning. He was born March 11, 1873 and was the son of John and Julia Gay Roser. He was educated in the Altmar schools and had always made his home in the vicinity of Ricard where at the present time he conducted a large farm. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon with a prayer at the home at 1:30 o'clock and services at 2 o'clock at the Ricard Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Clark Robinson. Besides his wife he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Julia Roser: four daughters, Mrs. Daniel Furney and Mrs. Ernest Durgan of Ricard, Mrs. Everett Monteith of Orwell, and Miss Mildred Roser of Pulaski, and three sons. Herman, Clarence and Clinton Roser, all of Ricard. Pulaski Democrat, 27 Dec 1939: RICARD-- George Roser, aged 64 years, died at his home here Thursday morning after a long illness. He was born March 11, 1875, a son of John and Julia Gay Roser. Nearly all of his life was spent in this vicinity.
