Oswego Palladium-Times, 24 May 1978: MRS. ETHEL M. BAMBURY Adams-- Mrs. Ethel M. Bambury, 82, RD 2, died last night in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown. Born in Williamstown, May 10,1896, she was the daughter of John and Julia Gay Roser. She attended Williamstown school. She was married twice. Her first husband, Harry Bush, died many years ago. Her second, William Bambury, died Feb. 22, 1949 She was a member of the Pierpoint Manor Union Church and resided with a daughter in Adams since 1957. Surviving are a son, Norman H. Bush of Richland; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Bulah) Dodge, with whom she resided, Adams; two grandsons... a sister, Mrs. Ida Staring of Altmar. Services will be held... Friday in the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. Chester Osgood, pastor of the Pierpoint Manor Union Church, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Pulaski Democrat, 31 May 1978: ETHEL MARY BAMBURY Ethel Mary Bambury, age 82, of R.D. 2, Adams, died May 23 in the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital, Watertown. She was born May 10, 1896 in the town of Williamstown, the daughter of John and Julia Gay Roser. Mrs. Bambury attended Williamstown District Schools. She was first married to Harry Bush and later married William Bambury, December 3, 1924. They resided in Orwell where they owned and operated their own farm for many years. Mr. Bambury died February 22, 1949. Since 1957, Mrs. Bambury resided at R.D. 2, Adams, with her daughter. Mrs. Bambury was a member of the Pierrepont Manor Union Church. She is survived by one son, Norman H. Bush of Richland; and one daughter, Mrs. Roy (Beulah) Dodge of Adams; two grandsons...; one sister, Mrs. Ida Staring of Altmar and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Friday, May 26,... at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, the Reverend Chester Osgood officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
