Bedale Rural District was an administrative division of the North Riding of Yorkshire based on the town of Bedale. Since the municipal reorganization of 1974, the area covered by Bedale Rural has been located in the administrative district of Hambleton in North Yorkshire, England.

The original size of Bedale Rural district was expanded in 1934 by the addition of Kirklington cum Upsland Urban District which had been an independent urban district since 1894.
