    Death of Mrs. W. D. Fedder

    Wife of Police Patrolman Dies in Local Hospital Friday. Mrs. Vera I. Fedder, 31, wife of Walt Fedder, Topeka police patrolman, died Friday night in a local hospital from complications following a recent operation.

    She was born in Topeka in 1904, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and president of St. John's Woman's Club.

    Besides her husband, two sons by a former marriage, Robert Virgil Scholes and Vernon Eugene Scholes, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. E. R. Smith; three brothers, Herbert, Henry and Harold Smith and four sisters Mrs. Chester Bailey, Mrs. Virginia Coulson (wrong in obit), Mrs. Norvell Johnson and Mrs. B. D. Painter all of Topeka, survive her.

    Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday from St. John's Church, burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
