Donna Mayers

Services for Donna McCarthy Mayers, 47, of 1717 Esplanade Ave., Davenport, will be 9:15 a.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary, and 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Davenport, Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, LaMotte, Iowa, where graveside services will be at 1 p.m.

Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. today, when a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Mayers died Friday at St. Luke's Hospital.

Donna McCarthy married Robert Mayers in 1961 in Rock Island.

She had been employed at Crow Valley Golf Club and E. Gadds, Bettendorf.

She was a member of the church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 1303, Rock Island.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Brenda Mayers, Davenport; a son, Robert Mayers Jr., Davenport; sisters, Eileen Kueter, Dubuque, Iowa, Betty Powers, Davenport, Joan Crull, Moline, and Jackie Dodson and Mary Boutin, both of California; and brothers, Bud McCarthy, Centerville, Iowa, and Merlin McCarthy, Davenport.
