- Will of John Pitzer Sr.
- To Carey Pitzer and his heirs: Tract hereon I now live - 499 acres on Cow Pasture Road, adjoining Boggess' old place, tract of 250 acres adjoining William Rowland, 100 acres on Sinking Creek called Sickles Place, and tract of 25 acres above the plantation where I live and on which is a Salt Petre cave.
