- Some genealogy websites include trees that claim that this John Anderson married Anne Ervin by 1755, but that was a different John Anderson. This John Anderson would have been too young to have married and had children beginning in 1755.

- Vol. 2, Page 432. - 18th March 1768, Vestry met. William McElheny and Paul Whitley appointed processioners vice John Maxwell and Jonathan Whitley. Robert Moor appointed processioner vice William Hall; Andw. Buchanah appointed processioner vice Wm. Reach; Peter Evans appointed processioner vice Nathl. Evans; John Anderson, Jr. appointed processioner vice John Young, Jr.; James Belshey appointed processioner vice John Fraizer; Jno. Harrison, Jr. appointed processioner vice William Elliott, who is unfit through age and infirmity. The processioners exempted above are such as have served before or such as the Vestry judges unqualified.
