- ↑ "Mrs. Ida Sofia Shuff, 68, widow of C. Coleman Shuff, died Thursday inher home in Tiffin. She had been in failing health for two years andwas bedfast for the last five weeks. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Staupin Frederick County, Maryland, May 10, 1878, she was married to Mr.Shuff November 2, 1895, and moved to Seneca County in 1905. Survivingare the following sons and daughters: Charles B., Frank O., Otto R.,Mrs. Pearl Hoffman, Mrs. Glenda Kline, Mrs. Helen Strausbaugh and MissMary Shuff all of Tiffin; Mrs. Clara King, Fostoria; two sisters, Mrs.Minnie Shuff, Point of Rocks, Maryland and Mrs. Dorothy Knippie,Frederick, Maryland; and 24 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Twosons and a daughter are deceased. Mrs. Shuff was a member of theEvangelical United Brethren Church in Bascom were funeral services willbe held Monday at 2 PM with the Rev. Howard McCracken officiating.Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin."
