- ↑ "Mrs. Glenda M. Kline, 51, wife of Virgil Kline of Route 5, Tiffin diedat 8:40 AM today, April 21, 1952, in Mercy Hospital following andillness of 3 1/2 months. Born July 5, 1900, a daughter of Coleman andIda Shuff, she was married to Virgil Kline, who survives, November 24,1920 in Tiffin, and lived her entire life in the vicinity of Bascom.For many years she was employed at Meadowbrook Park in Bascom, and wasa member of the Bascom E. U. B. Church and of the Willing Workers SundaySchool Class. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons,Donald Eugene at home, Charles Kline, Jr. of Tiffin and a daughter, Mrs.Dorothy Louise Watson of Bascom. Also surviving are 4 sisters, Mrs.Blaque Hoffman, and Mrs. Clara King of Tiffin, Mary Ellen Shuff and Mrs.Helen Strausbaugh of Fostoria, and three brothers, Charles Shuff, FrankShuff and Otto Shuff, all of Tiffin, along with five grandchildren. Agreat-grandchild is deceased. Funeral services will be conducted by theRev. J. R. Stowel and the Rev. T. O. Bennett at 2 PM Thursday in theBascom E. U. B. Church. Burial will be made in the Sand Ridge Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 PM Tuesday, or at thechurch after 11 AM Thursday."
