[edit] ObituaryJan. 23, 1922 - March 13, 2008 Harold A. Miller died Thursday, March 13, at the Corvallis Manor. He was 86. He was born in Colby, Kan., to John and Mary Miller. After serving his country during World War II, he married Johanna Meyer, the love of his life, on Feb. 10, 1946. Harold was a man of God and loved the Lord. He and "Billie" were crowned King and Queen of the Corvallis Manor this past Valentine's Day. He will be missed by all and we love him. He is survived by his wife, "Billie," of Corvallis; sister Vera Bastin of Florida; son Dan Miller and his wife, Colleen, of Salem; daughters Sharon Bassett and her husband, Frank, of St. Paul, Minn., and Roberta Miller of Albany; three grandchildren, Danelle, Darcie and Nick; and three great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Katelyn and Aaron. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Franklin. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, in the Albany Assembly of God Church. The casket will be open prior to the funeral beginning at 1 p.m. Following the service, burial will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
