Not sure of middle name, born in Sweden. (His baptism record shows his name to be Gustaf). Killed by a bull, his brother Emanuel, then married his wife and raised the children. His wife was pregnant with Gustaf Victor Theordor, my grandfather when his father died so he never knew his maternal father. Uncle Emanuel married Anna and raised all of the children plus one of his own, Clara. He had a farm between Clam Falls and Lewis Wisconsin. Name entered is from Victor's birth cert. No record of him in the vital records of Polk or Burnett Counties or on any census. I find this to be very curious. I sent to the state of Wisconsin for his Death Cert. and they could not find it.

If I were to try to locate a church to find his death record I would look for a Lutheran church in Burnett Co. and the only one I have found is Zion. Records are held at the U of Wisc. in Madison.

There is a bracket containing her parents and noted is 3 1/2 A. Fathers age is hard to read, might be 36 and it is also crossed through. There are also words that I cannot read in a column at the end. I cannot define that column with the tools I have available now.

Records completed for religious testing. Cannot determine date but will be between 1862-1871. No way to tell.
Not all family members are present. Severina b. 1855 and Emanuel b. 1844 are missing. Severina may be listed with her husband if she is married. Or she may not have survived. Emanuel might be listed with his wife if he is married or he may have immigrated already (1869).
1/8 means a farm that could feed 1/8 of a family since the number 1 represents a farm that could feed 1 family. The farms are split up between family members.

I do not know who the other male would be. They have listed that 3 were born in the US so I believe that they had a son that did not survive or that I do not know about.

  15. Florence Pittelkow believes he was born in Sweden. From headstones near John and Emma there are two stones that say Father. On one the father
is born 1844 died 1924, the other 1846, died 1892. One must be John's father, the other Emma's. I am assuming that the one that died in 1892 is
Gustaf since Florence said he was killed by a bull at an early age.
