This girl was born on 1st January 1810. She was daughter of a straw plaiter called Elizabeth Dean, formerly Hobbs, and her husband James Dean, a labourer. She had a twin brother. Sadly she died when less than four weeks old and before she was named, being buried at Great Gaddesden in Hertfordshire on 28th January 1810, described as "half baptised". Her twin brother was baptised and named William the following week.
