Colar--Wilson--married October 14th, 1897, by rev. W. H. Buchanan, at the home of grandmother Parker, Mr. Emanuel Colar of Kilgore and Mrs. Nettie A. Wilson, of Palermo.
In the 1900 census, Emanuel was living in Loudon Twp., Carroll Co., Ohio. He was listed as Manuel Colar age 54 born September 1845 in Ohio, his wife Martha age 49 born March 1851 in Ohio, also his step-daughter, Eva D. Wilson age 18 born December 1881 in Ohio, was living with him.

Emanuel Colar of Loudon Township died at his home on February 6. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. H. Herrnstein of Carrollton Lutheran Church and interment was made at Kilgore Cemetery.
Mr. Colar was born September 24, 1846. He was married to Elizabeth Shawver, January 23, 1868, who died November 3, 1892. He was again married to Mrs. Mattie A. Wilson on October 14, 1897. She died August 28, 1920. Deceased is survived by two sons, F. E. Colar and H. L. Colar; one daughter, Mrs. D. H. Reigle and a step-daughter, Eva Wilson, all of Loudon Township, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Burrier of Kilgore and Mrs. Christina Slates of Dellroy, also survive.
Mr. Colar united with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kilgore to which church he remained a faithful member to the end. After his first marriage he moved to Loudon township and lived the rest of his life.
