Sixth born child to Noah & Katherine Webster, the 2nd to be named Asahel, he is the 4th living son. Born in 1739 in Lebanon, he married Mary Lawrence about 1760. Church record of Vernon(formerly N. Bolton), CT shows him and his wife admitted to the Church there in 1762. About this time, Asahel's father left Lebanon & went to Tolland county. Presumably Asahel & the other children did likewise.
