The above is a Summary of Male Descendancy of the Wigton Walker line, based on White, 1902. This includes the Walkers Creek and Natural Bridge lineages. Also included is thethe lines of Samuel the Orphan, known to be related to the Line of John III by YDNA, but also known not to be related to the line of Samuel of Natural Bridge. Not currently shown are the lines of, Alexander the Orphan, and the Letterkenney Walkers, all of which share the Walkers Creek YDNA signature with John III and Samuel the Orphan.) Entries marked "X", indicate individuals who are believed to have "died young", died without children, or about whom nothing is known.

McClewer, John Philip Weaver. | JOhn Buchannan lived on northern BOrden's Grant, near the Wigton Walkers. Most likely the Walkers mentioned here, including Joseph, were living on Walkers Creek. Joseph (55) was born in 1722, and is the only adult known Joseph Walker in Old Augusta old enough (age 20) to be in the militia in 1742. Another possibility would be Joseph (99) (the Unknown) who was present in the Natural Bridge area after 1750, and is believed to be related to the Natural Bridge Line. He is referred to as "the Unknown", because he can't be identified with any "known" Walker in White 1902, and there is insufficient information about his family relations to draw firm conclusions.

John says: On Sunday, 13th May, 1750, he, with Edward Hogan and James McDowell, being at the house of James Greenlee, went over the main branch of James River in a canoe to a place of James McDowell, and on their return the canoe overset and they fell out into the river. John swam ashore and McDowell stuck by the canoe, and after some time got on its bottom by which he saved himself. John and James stripped themselves and made every effort to save Hogan, but were unable. James McDowell says the same. John Carmichael testifies. James Frazier testifies. John Fetter Soling testifies. One, Salix, fetched him the news. William Frazier. | Greenlee's home was in the Forks of the James, suggesting that this is Natural Bridge line. That might suggest that this is Joseph (51) son of Samuel...however that Joseph was not born until 1758, meaning this must be a different Joseph. Previous records show that unless he quickly returned from the Carolinas, this can't be Joseph (55) of the Walkers Creek line. We have no other appropriately aged Joseph Walkers in the area that have been identified. THere are numerous other subsequent records showing the presence of an adult Joseph Walker in the area between the departure of Joseph (55) in 1748, and when Joseph (51) comes of age in the late 1760's. These records suggest that there is an otherwise unidentified Joseph Walker (99) in the Natural Bridge area during this time period.
