  • note from Kathy 2/4/00*

William KERR (husband of Martha "Patsy" DRAPER) was the brother of my ancestor Patience KERR (wife of Isaac KEELE). William and Patience and their brother James (the "famous one" who was part of the DeWitt Colony in T were children of James KERR (b 8 Oct 1749 PA) and Patience WELLS. I have yet to find any connection between the two James KERRs other than their descendents crossing paths in MO. Martha "Patsy" DRAPER and Lucy DRAP (wife of the author of the following letter -- Phillip ORR) were daughters of Daniel DRAPER & Susanna Phillippa GIBBS. I do not have any other information on the families of either William or John KERR of the latest post. Forgive the length of this message, but here it is... Kathy Hanford Merz
