Mary Newborn was baptised on 11th February 1785 at Barnack in Northamptonshire, daughter of Mary Newborn, formerly Lambert, and her husband Edward Newborn. Young Mary was baptised on the same day as her sister Rose, who was quite likely her twin. However, Mary died as a baby, being buried just sixteen days after her baptism.[3]
