The family moved to Grand Rapids, MI and then to Chicago, IL. Leonard died in Chicago.
Obituary
Mrs. Elinor Snodgrass, 70, died at 8:50 p.m. Monday at her home, 711 Frederick St., following an illness of several weeks. A former resident of Chicago, she had lived here for the past seven years and was a cook at the Twin Maple Nursing Home. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Mildred Jamison, LaGrange, Ill.; and a son, Gilbert Badiac, Plymouth; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and several nieces. The body is at the C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home. Friends may call there after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with burial in the IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.

DIVORCE
On 29 April 1905, Lenore Badiac says that she and William were married on 10 Sep 1903 and lived together as husband and wife until the (blank) day of April 1905 when he deserted her and their child Mildred Alice, aged 8 months. They were left without any means of support . Lenore stated that William works for the Pennsylvania RR Company and draws nearly seventy five dollars. He left the state , leaving them nothing. William also has a pension of $8 a month from the government. Lenore has no property or means of her own and has been compelled to do housework to support herself and her child. She asked for $300 in support per year. Ennick & Ennick were her attorneys.
