Obituaries

MRS. ALFRED PORTER

 Mrs. Alfred (Anna E.) Porter, 93, 12101 State Road, Nunica died early today at a local nursing home following a lingering illness.  Mrs. Porter had lived in this area most of her life.
 She was born in Ohio on Feb. 24, 1878.  The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Freman Corll married Alfred Porter March 25, 1895.  He passed away in 1941.  She attended protestant churches.
 Survivors include three daughters - Mrs. Charles (Vernie) Shears, Nunica; Mrs. Louis (Ina) Rose, Grand Rapids; and Mrs. Leonard (Jane) Brown, Schoolcraft; three sons- Loren, Traverse City;  Harvey, Muskegon; and Freeman, Grand Junction.
 Also surviving are four sisters - Mrs. Carrie Laug and Mrs. Lettie (error should be Minnie) Mulder, Florida; Mrs. Lettie Rittenhouse, Arizona; and Mrs. Fred (Florence) Klosterhouse, Coopersville.
 Mrs. Porter is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.  Four children also preceeded her in death.
 The body is at the Kameraad Funeral Home, Spring Lake.

PORTER, MRS. ANNA E.

 Funeral Services for Mrs. Anna E. Porter will be conducted Monday 1:30 p.m. from the Kammeraad Chapel, Spring Lake, with the Rev. W. Gene Campbell officiating.  Interment will follow at the Nunica cemetery.  Friends may meet the family Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-0 at the funeral home.
