Mary Alma and her sister, Lettie, married brothers. Obituaries RETTINHOUSE -- Mrs. Mary Rettinhouse, aged 64, of Nunica R1, passed away Saturday evening. Surviving are her husband, Clarence; five daughters and three sons, Mrs. G. Hittsman and Mrs. L. Vink, Robert and Clyde, all of Nunica. Mrs. G. VanderVelde of Coopersville, Mrs. W. Boyka and Clayton of Spring Lake and Mrs. F. (Jim) Buist of Caledonia; twenty-nine grandchildren and six sisters. Mrs. Rettinhouse will repose at the Kammeraad Funeral Home, Grand Haven, until Tuesday noon, at which time she will be removed to the Fruitport Baptist Church for services at 2:30. RETTINHOUSE -- Mrs. Mary Rettinhouse, 64 years old, Route 1, Nunica, well known resident of North Ottawa many years, died Saturday evening at her home after a long illness. She was born June 9, 1888, Mary Alma Correll, at Holton, and married Clarence Rettinhouse in 1909. She lived in the Nunica area 17 years, later moving to Coopersville. She had been active in the Fruitport Baptist Church. Surviving are the husband; five daughters, Mrs. Guy Hitsman, and Mrs. L. Walter Vink of Nunica, Mrs. George VanderVelde of Coopersville, Mrs. William Boyko of Spring Lake, Mrs. James Buist of Caledonia; three sons, Robert and Clyde of Nunica, and Clayton of Spring Lake; six sisters, Mrs. Anna Porter and Mrs. Grace Porter of Muskegon, Mrs. George Laug of Florida, Mrs. Luther Mulder of Coopersville, Mrs. Fred Kloosterhouse of Coopersville, and Mrs. George Rettinhouse of Nunica; and 29 grandchildren. The body reposed at the Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Tuesday noon it was removed to the Fruitport Baptist Church, where services were held at 2:30 p.m. A prayer service was held at 2 p.m. Burial was in Fruitport cemetery in charge of Rev.
