Ruby Driskell records show Wm. married to Mary (Mollie) Ross with children Roxie and Gussie. See Warren Co. Marriage Book 1885-1889: 21 Mar 1886 William A. Braucht and Mollie McIntosh, witnessed by Lewis Braucht. Married at the home of his father, Adam, JR. Braucht. Also see data received from Mrs. E.A. Ross of Jefferson, IA (confirms other data). The History of Warren County, Iowa 1987, pg 785 (McIntosh Family 668) spells his name Braucht. Cemetery & Death Records of Warren Co., IA (IGS) record him as William A. Braucht, fa. 1864-1934. Warren Co., IA Marriage Book 1800-1899 pg 20: Braucht, William A. (22) to McIntosh, Mollie (21) 21 March 1886. One undocumented note says that Wm. A. Braucht b. 1860 at Warren Co., IA married 3/21/1888 at Warren Co., IA to Mollie B. McIntosh. Also see 1892 Framers Directory on Warren Co., IA listing W.A. Braught. Obituary for his father (died 25 July 1903) shows that William A.Braucht, son, of New Virginia attended that funeral in Indianaola, IA. New Virginia Deaths and Obituaries (Warren Co.,IA Gen. Soc. Lib) 1933-37 reports W.A. Braucht death 8 Nov. 1934. (this is likely paper report date, not death date). I have not yet pursued this record).
