Warren Co., IA 1870 census suggests that there could have been two more children of this marriage: Katherine and George. LDS record#AFN:1zfq-bb6 reports marriage location as PA. Also, because her marriage certificate lists her as Mrs., I suspect that she may have had a prior marriage and this is not her maiden surname. The 1903 Obituary for Adam Braucht (see my file 64C8 and Adam's notes here) lists some of her data and her 11 children by name and locations at that time. In Hewitt Cemetery there are two stones obviously for her: stone A is inscribed Sara A wife of Adam Braucht died May 24, 1886 aged 56 yrs. young. Stone B says Sarah A. wife of Adam Braucht died May 24, 1886 aged 56y 10 m 5 d. These duplicate stones lend added suspicion that someone has messed with the family stones in this cemetery. Lulu Closson advised me by phone that she and her husband had changed at least one stone (Rebecca Imboden Braucht), so I wonder if they had not been at least one source for such activities.
