1880 Warren Co., IA Census shows a Charles Bracht, b. 1849 in PA and Mary A. Bracht b. 1857 in IN. with dau. Anna born 1878 in IA. This could be the same family but deserves added verifications when time allows or if accuracy becomes important. It is not logical that he would have been born in IA (more likely, PA). Also, a Warren Co, IA Hewitt Cemetery stone is inscribed Alva Franklin son of C and M.A. Braucht died Aug. 23, 187 (5)?... unclear and remainder of stone has sunken too far to read any remainder data on the stone). If this is an infant son it would perhaps be a child of this marriage. Meantime, the mention of that stone is recorded here. 1903 obiturary for his father said that he was living in Indianaola then (and attended the funeral) In 1908 History of Warren Co, IA, pg 291 is mention of Charles Braught, Machine and General Repairs in Business Director for 1895.
