    28. Esther TURNER was born 1766 in Albemarle Co., VA. She died after 1813 in
    Adams Co., OH. Esther married (1) William PILSON, son of Richard PILSON.
    William was born about 1752 in Augusta Co., VA. He died after 1813 in Adams
    Co., OH. William bought his father's old farm in 1778 from his brother
    Samuel who had inherited it. In 1779, William - along with Thomas Jefferson
    and others - signed the Albemarle County Declaration of Indenpendance. In
    1780 William and his wife Ester - along with her father Francis Turner -
    moved to Patrick County Virginia where they bought extensive holdings on the
    Smith River. They later sold this land and moved to Adams County Ohio.
    William and Esther had the following children:
    85 M i. William PILSON Jr.. William moved to Adams
    County Ohio along with his parents in 1812.
    86 F ii. Mary PILSON. Mary moved to Adams County Ohio
    along with her parents in 1812.
    87 F iii. Elizabeth PILSON. Elizabeth moved to Adams
    County Ohio along with her parents in 1812.
    88 M iv. Richard "Dicky" William PILSON was born 8 Jul
    1783 in Patrick Co., VA. He died 24 Feb 1859 in Elamsville, Patrick Co., VA
    and was buried in Richard Pilson, Gravesite, Patrick Co., VA. Dicky dispersed
    10 slaves in his will. Richard married (1) Rachel HARBOUR, daughter of Moses
    HARBOUR and Nancy BRIDGES on 30 Jul 1807 in Patrick Co., VA. Rachel was born
    1785. She died 1851 in Patrick Co., VA. Richard also married (2) Elizabeth
    LEWIS on 15 Aug 1852 in Patrick Co., VA. Elizabeth died 1861 in Patrick Co.,
    VA.
    89 F v. Sarah PILSON. Sarah moved to Adams County
    Ohio along with her parents in 1812.
