Mrs. Rosetta Meitl

Services for Mrs. Rosetta "Rosie" (Barrett) Meitl, 71, of 28 Bissell Lane, will be at 10 am Monday at St. Raphael's Cathedral.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 pm at Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where a wake service will be at 5 pm Sunday.

Mrs. Meitl, who was born in Dubuque, died at 6:15 pm Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sandy Dahms) Buechele of 1895 N. Algona St. She worked at the Dubuque Packing Co. for 38 years before she retired in 1978 and was a member of Power of Prayer and a volunteer for numerous charities.

Surviving besides her daughter are a son, Donald L. Dahms of Davenport, Iowa; four granddaughters; two sisters, her twin, Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Casey Sr. and Mrs. John (Marie) Hoover, both of Dubuque, and three brothers, Leo Barrett of Roscoe, Ill., and Louis and Franny Barrett, both of Dubuque.

A daughter Jean died in 1937.

A Rosetta Meitl Memorial Fund has been established.
