Mrs. Katherine M. Pierrie

Mrs. Katherine M. Pierrie, 70, of 61 Bluff St., died at 10 am Sunday at St. Joseph's Unit, Mercy Health Center.

Her husband Milo died in April of 1972.

Services will be at 9 am Tuesday at St. Raphael's Cathedral, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 pm Monday at the Siegert Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where the Scripture Wake Service will be held at 8 pm Monday.

Mrs. Pierrie was born in Dubuque. She had been employed at Swift-Dubuque Co-op and Hilldale Dairy for 52 years prior to her retirement.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Judy) McElmeel and Mrs. William (Pat) Sweeney, both of Dubuque, and Mary Lou, at home; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Leo, Louis and Francis Barrett, and three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Casey Sr., Mrs. Rosetta Meitl and Mrs. John (Marie) Hoover, all of Dubuque.
