THE GROHS - March 1985 - 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY ------------------------------ Ray and Pauline Groh of Mason will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today with an open house at VFW Hall 7309, Mason from 2 to 4 p.m. The couple, married March 31, 1935 has five children, 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

He was born December 6, 1905 in Benzonia, MI. Mr. Groh retired in 1979 from Culligan Water Conditioning. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Brown. Surviving are his wife, Mildred P.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Albert (Pauline) Vineyard of New Jersey and Mrs. Fred (Edwina) Turner of Mason; 2 sons, Edward H. Sr. and Eugene, both of Lansing; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Gladys Howe of Lansing and Mary Cusions of Laingsburg. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gorsline - Runciman Ball - Dunn Chapel, Mason with Rev. Richard A. Selleck, Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Okemos. Family will receive friends at the Chapel from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. on Friday. Friends who desire may make contributions to the American Heart Association of Michigan. May 16,- Funeral - GROH Ray A.
