OBITUARY - Howe, Gladys G. Lansing, MI. (THE STATE JOURNAL, Lansing, MI.) 1987 (Pg. 2-B) Oct. 20,- Age 77, died October 17, 1987. Mrs. Howe was born August 26, 1910 and has been a resident of Lansing and surrounding area most of her life. She attended Christ United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Lois) Williams of Livonia. step-daughter, Mrs. Earlene Sowers of Lansing; 2 grandchildren Samuel L. and Daune A.; 1 step-grandson, Earl S. Sowers; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Don (Mary) Cushion of Laingburg also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel with the Rev. Richard A. Selleck, Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating, Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville. Friends may call at the Chapel beginning Tuesday 9 a.m., where the family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the Arthritis Foundation.
