Ingham County News Nov., 1988 Pg. 15 OBITUARY - Mildred P. Groh - 74 Nov. 16,- Mildred P. Groh of Mason died Nov. 9, 1988 in Lansing. She was born Oct. 17, 1914, in Indiana. Mrs. Groh was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ray A. Groh, in 1987, and daughter Bonnie Brown. Surviving are her children, Mrs. Fred (Edwina) Turner, of Mason; Edward H. Sr. & wife Betty of Lansing; Mrs. Albert (Pauline) Vineyard of New Jersery; Eugene and wife Arlene of Flordia; twenty two grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gordon and wife Ella Warvel of Dansville, Richard warvel of Holt; aunt, Georgia Buck of Stanton and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Gorsline-Runciman, Ball-Dunn Chapel, Mason, with the Rev. James J. Walker, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church of Lansing, officiating. Interment was in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Okemos. Casket bearers were; Thomas Harrington, Rex Moore, Dennis Umbarger, Brian Lantz, Dennis Costello, John Kerekes, and John Griffin. Honorary bearers were: Richard Johnson, Eric Maj, and Cory Gailey. Friends who desire may make contributitions to the American Heart Association.
