He is not included in the 1806 list, nor thereafter. The I.G.I. has their marriage in Greene Co., Penna.
In Beers, "History of Miami Co., Ohio" for a sketch of Henry D. Crumrine, there is an indication that Peter and his wife moved from Greene Co., Penna. in 1806 or 1807 and located on Wolf Creek, Madison Twp., Montgomery Co., Ohio. The "History of the city of Dayton and Montgomery Co., Ohio by Rev. A.W. Drury (1909, Vol. 1, page 906) indicates that Peter purchased land in Madison Twp, Montgomery Co.,Ohio Oct.15,1805. Peter is in the 1816 tax list of Montgomery Co.,Ohio, Madison Twp., as a propietor.
Beer's "History of the Darke Co., Ohio" page 446, says "Peter Crumrine moved into German Twp., Darke Co., Ohio, on March 12, 1817. The 1820 census has him in Washington Twp., Darke Co., Ohio. The 1850 census indicates that Peter was born in Maryland and Elizabeth in Ohio.
Beers "History of Miami Co., Ohio" indicates that Elizabeth's family name was Ringer, as does the I.G.I. Family sources of information have indicated her family name as Puterbaugh. On several land deed records in Darke Co., Ohio, she signed her name as "Betsy".
