A George Crumrine was buried in an unmarked grave in Kleberg Cemetery (1885?). George's son Marshall lived in Dallas in 1885, supporting the claim that this is the right guy.

A son Noah (ca 1844) was age 6 in 1850, and not found again. He may also have died with his mother on the way to Iowa (ca 1854).

  6.   History of Warren County, Iowa from Its Earliest Settlement to 1908
    1908.

On the 29th of November, 1855, Mr. Hendrickson was united in marriage to Miss Delilah Crumrine, who was born in Darke County, Ohio, in 1839, a daughter of George and Rachel (Potter) Crumrine. The father, a native of Ohio, came to Warren County, Iowa, in 1854, entering three quarter sections of land in Liberty Township and likewise another forty-acre tract. Having brought considerable money with him, he also purchased one eighty-acre tract and four forty-acre tracts of land. He was one of the most prominent and respected pioneers of this county, and the large measure of success which he achieved enabled him to provide well for his children. Joseph Hendrickson and Mr. Davis are the only ones who still reside on the land he gave to his daughters. George Crumrine made his home in this county for many years, also spent some years in Kansas and subsequently removed to Texas, where his death occurred. He lost his wife and one child in 1854 but about three years later was again married, his second wife passing away in this county.

George Crumrine, b. ca.1807 in Ohio m.1) 13 Oct. 1831, Rachel Potter, b. ca.1811 m.2) Bersheba... b. abt 1813 m.3) Quoted from a letter of a great—granddaughter to Earl Smith of Milo,Iowa; "The George Crumrine came to Iowa from Darke Co., O. about the same time as the Moshers. They settled near liberty Center, and I think on the Kimpert farm. His first wife died on the way to Iowa and was buried somewhere on the praire. He was married three times — second wife was buried in Christian Neck cemetery, and third wife was buried in Shafer cemetery. The names of the children were Enos, married a Mosher; Marshall who moved to Kansas in the 80's; Mrs. Dehlila Hines, they lived east of liberty Center and she is buried in a small cemetery there. Rachel Blake Davis was the youngest...." George and Rachel are in the 1850 census in Darke Co., O., German Twp. Land deed records of Darke Co. indicate they sold land 26 Feb. 1855. Probably that is the time they went to Iowa. The 1860 census for Warren Co., Iowa, Liberty Twp., has a George and wife Bersheba with children Rachel and John R. This probably is the same George. First marriage recorded Darke Co., O. Marshall, Zenith, Enos, Delilah, Noah, Rachel, John R
