She was a catachumen of the class of 1907-'08, and during that time was a quiet, attentive and obedient pupil and good scholar. On Easter 1906 she was confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran church. For the past few years she has attended Castalia High School. On her birthday, February 5th, she was stricken with pneumonia and after five days of patient suffering she passed peacefully away. She was a kind, thoughtful, lovable young lady just coming into the bloom of splendid young womanhood when the ruthless hand of time, with little warning, cut down the beautiful flower of the earth to transplant it in the golden garden of eternity. Friends innumerable sympathies with the bereaved family in their sad and sudden bereavement. She is survived by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.
