Mary W. Radloff, 87, of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Luana and Postville, died of a heart attack Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in the Chandler Regional Hospital. Services - 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Heritage Lutheran Church, Gilbert, Ariz. Arrangements with Falconer Funeral Home, Gilbert, Ariz. Survivors include two sons, Harley Jr. of Postville and Bruce of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; a daughter, Lois Meyer of Mesa, Ariz.; and two sisters, Hester McGuire and Marge Leach, both of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Valetta Radloff; a son-in-law, Keith A. Meyer; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley J. Radloff; her parents, William and Anna Gentz; a brother, Bill; three sisters, Agnes Schulte, Ann George and Rita Doerring; and a grandson, Lane Radloff. Born and raised in the Luana area, Mary helped her husband manage the Postville Bowling Alley and farm. She was also a talented seamstress and tailor in Tempe and Chandler, Ariz. She was very active in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Women and volunteered at the Gilbert Senior Center and at Heritage Lutheran Church. She and her husband had been part-time residents of Arizona for 26 years and full-time residents since 1991. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Heritage Lutheran Church, 14001 E.
