Will Abstract

Will of Josiah McClure of the County of Augusta and State of Virginia
1st. "I give and bequeth to my beloved wife Jane one third of my Estate Real and personal to her assigns.
2ndly. "the Balance of my Estate I direct to be Equally divided amongst my friends Isaack McClure, David McClure, Hugh McClure, Ann Hutchison wife of George Hutchison Senr., Agness Pilford Daughte to Hugh McClure dec'd., Mary McKeney Daughter of Andrew McClure dec'd., John McClure son of Andrew McClure and grandson of Mitchell to them their heirs and assigns forever, only with this ___ as to Hugh McClure who is of unsound mind his Share is left to him during his life to be given to him in such sums at such times as my Exrs. may think proper and what may be in their hands at his decease to be given to the children of David McClure to them their heirs and assigns forever.
3dly. "all debts Dues and Demands I have against George Compton and I give to him and my Exrs. __ to give him his bond and askornfils" {?]
4thly. "I direct that my Exrs. give David McClure thirty nine pounds of the bonds due me which is, not to be counted in his Equal D___ with the other Legatees.
5thly. "I direct my Exrs. to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses and Lastly I nominate and appoint David Bell and William Patrick Exrs. of this my Last will and Testament in whtness whereof I have hereunto set my hand Seal this 234th of Feby. 1814.
