Information on Joseph Black

From Ancestry.com post:

My brick wall: Joseph Black was born c1776, son of Henry & Martha Black, and I think he died between 1840 and 1850. Siblings were: John m. Margaret Ford, James m. Margaret Moore, William m. Ruth Evans, Benjamin m. Jane/Jean Clark, Elizabeth m. John Banning and Jane/Jean m. William Ruth.

Joseph Black m. 6 May 1808 Rockbridge Co., Ann ACTON daughter of John & Hester "WARD" Acton. I only have information on one daughter, my 2gr grandmother, Esther, who married John VARDY 24 Jul 1828 in Rockbridge.

He is in the 1840 census of Rockbridge Co., but not found in the 1850 census. The 1840 Census shows Joseph Black 1 M 10-15, 1 M 50-60, 1 F > 10-15, 1 F 20-30. In 1830 the census shows: Joseph Black 1-5 1M , 6-10 1M 2F, 11-15 1M 1F, 16-20 2M 1F, 30-40 1F, 40-50 1M

Does anyone have information on the children listed in 1830 or 1840? When did Joseph die? Where is he buried? Also when did his wife, Ann, die? [Source: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/VAROCKBR/2004-02/1077507043]
