Thomas Stevenson's will--To son-in-law, George Poage, 1 shilling; to grandson, George Poage, 1 shilling; to grandson, John Poage; to Agness Reed; to Joseph Hannah; to Deborah Reed; to Isabel Reed; to Alex. Reed; what money Henry King owes to be given to the poor if got from him; 20 shillings to pale in the church yard; to Robert Reed, Jr. Executors, Alex. Reed and David Gibson. Teste: John Campbell, Thomas Willson, Jno. Dixon. Proved, 16th August, 1785, by Wilson and Dixon. Executors qualify.

• Vol. 2 - DISTRICT CIRCUIT COURT EXECUTIONS. SEPTEMBER, 1794 (A to I). - Commonwealth vs. James Kerr, Alexander Kerr, Nathaniel Kerr and John Bratton--Indictment for trespass on land of John Dixon, 1793. John Allison is about to go to Kentucky, 12th October, 1792.

• Vol. 2 - APRIL, 1793 (A to G). - Dixon vs. Kerr--Original patent by Frau. Fauquier to William Carr, 2d June, 1760, for 188 acres on Cathey's River, corner Beverley Main Line. Original deed, Andrew and Margaret McClure to John Dickson, recorded 1786. Same, William Carr and Martha, to Andrew McClure, 1768. Original patent by Jefferson to John Dixon, 5th September, 178_ (fifth year of Commonwealth), 91 acres.

• Vol. 2 - Marriage Bond: 1794--December 24, John Dixon, Jr., and John Dixon, Sr., surety. John Dickson and Isabella Patterson, daughter of Thomas Patterson.

• Vol. 1 - MAY, 1804 (D to H). - John Dixon vs. George Anderson.--Affidavit, 17th October, 1801, that John Campbell is an inhabitant of Kentucky, and is about to return to that State. Deposition of John states that in 1785 or 1786 he assisted his brother, Robert Campbell, to build a house for defendant. John Patterson and his brother, Thomas Patterson.
