Lawson is a runaway servant of James McKain. Also James McKain gets a "Certificate of Hemp". 1767, Nov. 17 Grand Jurors ... James McKain 1767, Nov. 18 James Ledderdale (sic) asks counter security from Margaret Looney, admix. of Peter Looney, since intermarried with James McKain. 1768, Jan. 22 Margaret McKain, formerly Margaret Looney, vs. Breckenridge.
