Daniel; You mention a James McCain/McKain that married Margaret Lauderdale Looney, widow of Peter Looney. This is my line. Do you have any more information on this James McCain, married after June 1763 to Margaret, and died prior to Jan 1796, Sumner Co., TN. Their only child was James McCain Jr., born 15 Aug 1766, Botetourt Co., VA and married Elizabeth Eaton, died 1857, Sumner Co., TN Merrill Luna azluna@@juno.com
